Me and my partner stayed in room 4 for Valentine's Day, wow! What a lovely place, staff were all very lovely (every member of staff that we interacted with had a huge smile and were all very pleasant) room 4 was spotless, very cosy and warm, was worried about the noise from the bypass but as soon as the window was closed you couldn't hear a thing. Beds were very comfortable and then we went for cocktails at the bar before dinner, AMAZING! The starburst one is to die for. Then for dinner i had chicken fajitas, mouth wateringly delicious, spicy but sweet. My partner had the steak pie which might just be the best steak pie i have ever tried. Would highly recommend the place, everywhere inside was beautiful and clean and very cosy. Staff 10 out of 10 and we will be back plenty of more times.
Had a lovely meal here with a large family group. Everyone agreed the food was excellent, my steak pie was very good. And the following day for a funeral afternoon tea. Beautifully done, tables perfect and food perfect. Staff were excellent. All in all pleased we chose the Fenwick Hotel! Several family members staying here also who were very complimentary.
Stopped into ghe Fenwick hotel for a midday cocktail for a special occasion. The staff were absolutely lovely. The atmosphere was warm and chic and the wonderful James makes the most amazing cocktails and mocktails! The cocktail of the day was amazing and the strawberry dacqueries were incredible.
Booked lunch for 2. Delicious main course - it was hard to make up my mind as I could have chosen numerous main dishes. Also, the cheese cake for dessert was yummy. Lovely staff. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive as were the waiters who checked on us too. Nothing too much trouble. Will definitely return in the near future. Would be good if they included some gluten free dishes for dietary requirement guests.
Went for Breakfast with a friend. I'd booked a table for 2 and it was right at the window. Very pleasant outlook, over carpark, motorway, then over the Ayrshire countryside. Staff are always very welcoming. Aileen couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. Various breakfast options. We chose the 'Wee Fenwick', which was quite enough for us, excellently cooked and presented. The Big Fenwick would have been ideal for the guys!! Service was quick but we felt no rush to finish, tho staff were very attentive to our needs..... more teas/coffees offered etc. The venue is very pleasantly decorated and comfortable. Smart, but homely too. Looking forward to the next time!
We recently went as a family group to The Fenwick Hotel to celebrate my birthday. From the very start we were made most welcome. Our table was set and it was not long till we were all assembled. The service was speedy and we did to have to wait before our order was taken and served up. We all enjoyed what was put down for us, I chose the carvery. The meats I had were succulent and all of the vegetables were well prepared and cooked. Overall a good dining experience and yes I am sure we will return. Only one thing that I would like to say, is that I think there should be a cheaper tariff for those under 3years old.
Just returned from our stay on January 1st/2nd family of 6 . Stunning hotel , very friendly and welcoming staff , easy check-in, straight to rooms (3rooms) went to bar , that got busy with not alot of seats but we managed , went for meal and that was flawless, everything was plenty, hot , delicious, . Staff were so on point, breakfast plate was full roasting and delicious, absolute spotless hotel , was so christmasy, staff amazing and helpful. My only thing I found disappointing was the lack of brightness in bedroom decor. The walls / ceiling same brown colour . Just needs brighter paint job , Thank you Fenwick Hotel we will certainly be back
My Mum, Dad and myself went for lunch today. The first time we have been in several years and it was a lovely experience. The service was amazing and the lady dealing with us was an asset to The Fenwick Hotel. The meal was fantastic and we look forward to coming back again. Thanks again
